Dunham sports is a regional sport good superstore in the United States. It is owned by the Dunhamsathleisure corporation and has stores located in western to south-eastern parts of the country. The retailer chain specializes in sports goods, guns and other sports equipment. The first store was started in Michigan in 1937 as a small fishing supplies shop named Dunhams Bait and tackle. After gaining exposure through ads in the newspaper and fishing shows, the store started to get branches in other locations. Today the chain has stores in over 230 locations and sells many other products other than sports goods and equipment.
