American Flow Control History

​American Flow Control manufactures valves and hydrant products. The headquarters of the company is located in Birmingham, AL. It was founded in 1991. It then expanded by building its production facilities in Beaumont, Texas, South St Paul, Minnesota. American Flow Control is a subsidiary of American Cast Iron Pipe Company.
It manufactures fire hydrants, gate valves, torn tapping, captivator hydrant locks, trench adapters, mechanical joint fittings, indicator posts and Storz nozzles. Under its sales unit American Ductile Iron pipe, it supplies for municipal water, power markets, distribution and transmission markets, industrial markets. Along with supply the company also covers the fabrication of treatment plants and pump stations.
