Zoes Kitchen was founded in the year 1995. The company has been active for almost 24 years now. The founders of the company were Zoe Cassimus and Marcus Cassimus. The first shop of the restaurant was opened in the year 1995, in Homewood, USA, which was followed by another store located in Hoover in the year 1999. In the year 2001, the company had opened its first store outside of Alabama, USA – located in Tennessee. By the year 2005, the company had expanded to almost 16 restaurants, which was increased to 20 restaurants by the year 2007.
