SimplexGrinnell History

Simplex Grinnell is a subsidiary of Tyco International which are experts in the active fire protection systems. Their headquarters are in Boca Raton, Florida.

It is the largest fire protection comoany in the world. In 1976 Grinnell Fire protection was bought by Tyco in 1976. Grinnell Fire Protection was merged with Simolex Time Recorder on January 5, 2001. In May 2017, Johnson Controls became the brand identity of SimplexGrinnell. SimplexGrinnell’s fire sprinkler services became a separate brand under Jhonson Controls.
