The company had made its first sale in the year of its founding, which was a Luer-all-glass syringe, for an amount of $2.50. In the year 1898, the company had acquired its first patent. The following year, the company had introduced its first logo as well. Then in the year 1904, the company had received the Philadelphia Surgical Company. In the year 1906, the company had established a manufacturing facility in East Rutherford for the production of various kinds of hypodermic needles, thermometers, syringes, etcetera. In the year 1924, the company had manufactured its first syringe for the injection of insulin.
